"I have been a Harley rider for 13 years now, and have been in more Service departments than I wanted to be. But I believe all that has changed thanks to the V-Rod I bought from your shop three years ago. 25,000 miles later and I have spent a total of $50 to replace broken or missing items. Reese Murphy is the usual technician for my bike, and I think he has a pact with the devil for how good my bike runs after he gets done with it, every time. Jim and J. J. are both willing to listen to my bad jokes when I stop by. But a big thanks goes out to the guys who scrape the bugs and mud off it when the service is done. The only time I wash it is when it's raining. I even took a nap in a quiet corner during business hours while waiting for the last 5000 service. I can't thank all of you enough for everything you've done for me. So here is one more. Thanks!"

"I had my 06 heritage on the dyno at the end of last year at thunder in the rockies,CO. The bike ran good but gas mileage was crappy,I thought it was because my wife and I ride together all the time. June 5th I rode it from York NE. to Waterloo IA to see family, I got 30-32mpg, I could not believe that. I went to the H-D dealership and talked to Reese about it, he put my bike on the dyno and made some changes in the map, what a difference that made. I got 3 more hp, 4 more lbs of tq and on the way back to NE. I got an average of 39.8 mpg. Thanks Reese and Silver Eagle Harley Davidson. Keep up the good work. "

"My son (James) came in and purchased a 2006 Wide Glide. After toying with the idea of getting back on a bike after 34 years, all it took was one ride on his to get the spark turned into a fire. I purchased a used 1995 Wide Glide from Butch, and the fire has roared ever since. I love the attention to detail from the service guys. J.J. and Jim always make sure I'm happy before I leave. The parts people are super!!!! If they don't have something I want or need, they get it ASAP!!! The Motorclothes gals are great also, always greet you with a smile and are very, very helpful. Since buying my Wide Glide, I also purchased a 1997 Sportster privately for my wife, and the crew at SE have been able to make it the bike of her dreams!!! Thanks to everyone at SE for helping to bring the kid back out in me!!!"

"I can see most of these comments here are from folks that have purchased a new or used bike from Silver Eagle. They spent a chunk of money and are pleased. Check this out.
I saw a shirt on ebay that I wanted and sent an email about it. I got a reply (from one of the owners no less but I forgot which one) saying he was out of that exact style but what about this one (he attached a picture) He said it was at another location and would have to get it. I said sure and mentioned I was also looking for a vest. Then AMY VOSSBERG stepped in and she sent me several pictures of different vest and other shirts; all of this over a couple of week period and through emails. I never thought I was communicating with a dealer because they were so willing to go out of the way to make me happy. After I found out from an emal it WAS a dealership, I went to the website and wanted to order other things I'd seen. Amy said he needed to order those new things from her supplier because they were so new. Then, after all that, when my order got to Silver Eagle, Amy wrote to say one item looked big and if I wanted she could re-order the next smaller size. All this was her to make me HAPPIER. I was already happy as could be.
DAYUM !! I live in Texas and can't get treated like that at the HD Dealership here if I walk in with $20 hanging out of every pocket and a HERE TO BUY sign around my neck. I ended up sending a little over $100 at Silver Eagle and got treated like a long time, big spender good friend in the process. Like Royalty.
I went into my local dealership 3 days ago and wanted some fingerless gel gloves size XL and was told they were out and she didn't have any idea about getting more in; she didn't do ordering. As I was leaving she asked why I was set on gel and said she had worked there a year and never understood why some guys wouldn't take anything else. I just shook my head and said "long ride Vibrations girl" ............... see what I mean?
For public record. You guys on the comment page that spent thousands for a bike and had a good experience - the little guy gets treated the exact same way at Silver Eagle. All the SE people try hard and know more than the ones around here do anyway. SE treatment is NOT the NORM, believe me.
One last question. Would Silver Eagle please consider buying out the 3 HD dealerships in this area, around San Antonio and surrounding counties? I know a bunch of unhappy HD owners in this area that would be willing to help with making that happen.

"We were very impressed with the amount of attention that was shown to us when we purchased our 2003 (Anniversary) Ultra Classic Electric Glide with a side car! Everyone was very friendly and more than willing to satisfy our needs. We purchased a 2005 Sportster earlier this year from another dealer, and the experience was not one that I want to go thru again.
Silver Eagle made us feel like we were a valued customer and friend. I thought it was awesome that Kevin, our Salesman took us around to all of the different departments, and introduced us to everyone.

"On Thursday, August 11, 2005 I visited your Dealership. I was returning from Sturgis when the shifter rod on my 04' UltraClassic became inoperable. In just a short time, Eric, I think his name was, obtained a new shifter rod and installed it for me. The whole repair was concluded in less than 30 minutes. Many thanks to Eric and the Service Manager who determined that this repair would be covered by warranty. We returned home in the Shenandoah Valley the next evening with no further equipment malfunctions.
